AfterMED SKIN Founders Shortlisted for Prestigious National Entrepreneur Award
AfterMED SKIN founders Abigail and Julie Devenney have been shortlisted for Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

This recognition is particularly significant because innovation is the driving force behind AfterMED Skin. From developing specialist protocols to helping clinics strengthen their knowledge of aftercare standards, the brand continually looks for new ways to improve the post-treatment experience for practitioners and patients.
AfterMED Lips was designed with innovation at the heart of every detail- from its purpose-developed, pigment-free and anhydrous formulation to its hygienic airless packaging and dedicated clinic and patient sizes. Rather than adapting a conventional lip balm or general skincare product, Abigail and Julie created a specialist solution around the realities of aesthetic treatments and the specific needs of treated lips.

That same approach extends beyond the products themselves. AfterMED Skin supports clinics with professional protocols, practitioner education and practical guidance to help teams better understand aftercare, adopt safer and more consistent practices, and confidently communicate this advice to their patients.
Being shortlisted for Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year is therefore especially meaningful. The category recognises entrepreneurs who identify unmet needs and create original solutions capable of generating meaningful change- reflecting AfterMED Skin's mission to address the long-overlooked gap in professional aesthetics aftercare.
The achievement comes in one of the awards’ most competitive years to date, with more than 5,000 applications submitted and only 740 businesses reaching the shortlist. It reinforces AfterMED Skin's position as a brand challenging outdated aftercare practices and working to raise standards across the aesthetics industry.
Abigail Devenney said:
“Being shortlisted alongside my mum is incredibly special. Innovation for us has never been about creating something new simply for the sake of it- it is about solving genuine problems faced by practitioners and patients. From the way our products are formulated and packaged to the education and support we provide to clinics, every decision is guided by our commitment to improving aesthetics aftercare.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony later this year.
