AfterMED Skin is heading to Dubai Derma 2026 to introduce its growing range of professional aesthetic aftercare to clinics, dermatologists, pharmacies and distributors across the Middle East.

The story behind AfterMED Skin

AfterMED Skin began with two women and one everyday clinical problem that needed a better answer.

Julie and Abigail Devenney, a mother-and-daughter team, recognised a clear gap within the aesthetic treatment journey. Patients were leaving clinics with freshly treated, delicate skin, yet there were very few dedicated products designed specifically to support that skin after treatment.

Clinic standards had advanced significantly, but aftercare standards had not always progressed at the same pace. Julie and Abigail set out to change that by developing professional products supported by clear protocols, practitioner education and patient guidance.

AfterMED Lips: where the journey began

AfterMED Lips was the first product in the range.

Formulated with Kahai Oil, Arnica, Colloidal Oats and Jojoba Oil, it was created to soothe, nourish and comfort the lips following aesthetic treatments, including dermal filler, filler dissolving, lip blush and skin boosters.

The innovation contributed to Abigail receiving the Young Innovator Award in 2023. Today, AfterMED Lips is used by thousands of aesthetic clinics across the United Kingdom as part of their professional aftercare offering.

The introduction of AfterMED Finish

The next stage of the journey was AfterMED Finish: a professional post-treatment facial serum developed to support treated skin immediately after a wide range of aesthetic procedures.

AfterMED Finish is designed for use following procedures including injectables, microneedling, polynucleotides, mesotherapy, chemical peels, IPL and non-ablative laser treatments.

From the United Kingdom to international markets

In 2026, AfterMED Skin crossed borders for the first time, launching across the Nordic region. The brand’s international market development is supported by LUMI Health Co, AfterMED Skin's Strategic International Partner.
